General Description
As mentioned in the day before, we didn’t hike this day (you can check the previous day page for details). The walk today is mostly downhill, leading us to the “Inn Valley” of Tyrol. A very touristic area in Austria. We finish this day at the town Wattens.
It should be noted that according to the book we took with us (Munchen – Venedig published by Rother) you don’t descend to Wattens.
The book provides a couple of different variations to do in this day. We believe those variations are better then what we did, you will understand why when you’ll read about tomorrow (day 8).
I can’t elaborate on the other options the book suggests (because we didn’t walk them) but this information is readily available on the internet, or you can buy this specific book.
Sleeping: We finish the day in a town (Wattens) so there are many options. We slept in Hotel Alpenland.
